AC Transit: Serves Berkeley, Oakland and other East Bay communities. In SF, buses depart from the Transbay Terminal and Financial District. (510) 839-2882.

Golden Gate Transit: Serves Marin County, parts of Sonoma. In SF, buses stop on Lombard St., Van Ness Ave., Geary Blvd., Financial District, Transbay Terminal. (415) 923-2000.

Additional Ferry, Bus, Rail, Transit Information:

The Southwest Airlines Chinese New Year Parade begins at 5:15 pm at Second and Market Streets, proceeds west on Market, and then west to Geary Street to Union Square. It turns north on Powell Street, east on Post Street and north on Kearny Street to Columbus Avenue where the parade will disperse.

Streets along the route will be close to traffic beginning at 4:30pm and will reopen once the parade has passed and the route has been cleaned. Market Street between Second and Fremont Street and Second Street between Market and Mission Streets will be closed beginning at 4 pm. to accommodate the parade staging area.
